I’ll show you how to make one for a few different fonts, then show you some of the options available.
I also cover some of my own favorite fonts and how to convert them to the script font format.
This article will cover the font configuration for the new Freetype 6 font.
Fontconfig is a lightweight tool that can be used to add or remove fonts, and it’s a good place to start if you’re just starting out.
If you have any questions or comments, please post them below or send them to [email protected]
To use this article, you must have Freetypes 6.0 installed and configured to use the script fonts.
This is very easy to do.
Download the latest version of Freetypast.
Install the fonts in your browser and open Fontconfig.
In the toolbar, click Fonts.
Select the fonts you want to install and click OK.
The fonts will appear in your font list.
If they do not work, you will need to re-download them.
You can do this in the Fontconfig Preferences.
Note: If you are not sure if you have Fonts installed, you can download it here: http://fonts.fontconfig.org/download/fonts/freetype-6.0.zip.
To add a new font to Fontconfig, go to Fonts > New Font.
Type a name for the font, the size, and the font’s name in the Description field.
Select a font size for the text in the Size field.
Type the font name in its Name field.
If it doesn’t work, it probably has a bad extension.
Enter the font file name and file extension into the Fonts box.
Choose the font size in the Default Field, and click Add.
A new font will be added to FontConfig.
You should be able to add any fonts you like.
To uninstall the font from Fontconfig or remove a font from it, click the Font icon and then click Uninstall.
If Fontconfig doesn’t appear in the list of installed fonts, make sure that you’ve installed the fonts, or you can find them in the Extensions folder in your fonts directory.
If your font is already installed, it should automatically appear in Fontconfig when you click Add or Uninstall a font.
For more information about fonts, see the Freetics 6.x documentation.
If all goes well, you should be good to go.
If not, it may take a few hours to generate a new batch file.
You may need to wait until the fonts are installed before you can add them to Fontlist.
If this does not work for you, you may want to try adding the font in a separate file, like in the FontefType plugin.
This will make Fontlist a lot easier to manage.
If the font you add does not appear in fontlist, try adding it in Fonts again.
To remove a Fontlist font from your browser, just click the Remove icon in the toolbar and then Click Delete.
The font you deleted will be deleted from Fonts when you close Fontconfig and reopen it.
If any of the fonts that you have added to your Fontlist are missing, you’ll need to recreate them in Fontlist or create a new Fontlist file in FontConfig with the correct font.
