Madison, a senior at the time, had the idea of taking her daughter to the museum to see how she could teach her how she learned the instrument, which requires a lot of practice.
“She said, ‘Mom, I think I can play the keys,'” Madison recalled.
Madison’s daughter, who is now 15, has since gone on to pursue a degree in music performance and theatre.
In the same video, she showed her daughter how she plays the piano, using the key of E to open the piano and a fifth finger to stop it from opening.
She also said she would teach her to play a violin and to play an organ.
In fact, the first lesson her daughter took from Sorennson was to play her own violin, which she said was so difficult that she was embarrassed to let her own mother see it. “
She eventually had Madison learn how to use the piano on her own, and she is now an instructor for a public high school.
